Board-Certified Orthodontist

Dr. Tofool Alghanem is a board-certified orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, known for her expertise in complex and challenging cases. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Master of Science in Public Health, and Certificate of Advanced Training in Orofacial Pain from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine — one of the nation’s leading dental institutions.

Before joining Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Salem in 2018, Dr. Alghanem served on the faculty at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she developed and taught didactic and clinical courses and conducted research. She is a reviewer for multiple academic journals and has chaired educational committees at Tufts and within national professional societies.

Dr. Alghanem is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the New Hampshire Dental Society. Her passion for orthodontics is matched by her love of travel and experiencing new cultures and cuisines around the world.
