Greeting and Tour
Upon entering the office, you will be greeted immediately by our friendly staff. We will begin by establishing trust with your child using behavior management strategies such as Tell-Show-Do and Positive Reinforcement. Your child will be shown all of the instruments we will be using and how they work, often demonstrating their use on the child’s hand first.
Meet the Team & Do an Exam
You will meet the team, who will perform a comprehensive exam. Your child’s age and comfort level will help determine the length of the appointment.
Our goal is to establish the dentist’s office as a safe, friendly place. Depending on your child’s specific needs, we may also take images using our low-dose digital imaging system.
Meet with the doctor
Your doctor will review all of the findings with you. They will discuss diet, hygiene, thumb-sucking, pacifier use, fluoride exposure and answer any questions you may have.
Your involvement in your child’s health care is extremely important. You and the doctor will work together to develop the treatment or preventative plan best for your family.

After the appointment is completed your child will pick out a prize from the toy box and will be given a gift bag!
